Blog / Archive Page Options & Settings
You can easily customize your Blog and Archive pages from the WordPress Customizer.
Go to Dashboard → Appearance → Customize → Blog → Blog / Archive to access all available settings.
Below are the key options included in the Blog / Archive Settings panel:
1. Page Layout Settings
Layout Type: Choose between Boxed Layout or Wide Layout for your blog page design.
Background Color: Set a custom background color for your blog container.
Show Sidebar: Toggle to show or hide the sidebar on the blog page.
Custom Container Width: Enable this option to define a custom container width for the post and sidebar area.
2. Post Style Settings
Post Style: Select how posts are displayed — choose from List, Grid, or Gallery layouts.
Variant Style: Pick your preferred variant within post styles
Card Style: Enable to display posts within card-style boxes for a modern look.
Rounded Image: Toggle to make featured images rounded.
Pagination Type: Choose the pagination style — options include Page Numbers, Next/Previous, or Load More.
3. Blog Hero Section
Banner Style: Choose between Standard Banner or Featured Post Slider to display at the top of your blog page.
Content Alignment: Center or left-align the banner content using Content Center Align and Pagination Left Align toggles.
Padding: Adjust the inner spacing (Top, Right, Bottom, Left) to control the banner’s vertical and horizontal spacing.
Typography & Colors:
Post Title Color / Typography – Customize the post title appearance.
Meta Category Color / Typography – Style the category label text.
Meta Date Color / Typography – Adjust the date text styling.
Meta Author Color / Typography – Control how author names appear.
4. Archive Banner
Heading Color / Typography: Customize the heading style for archive page titles.
Description Color / Typography: Set color and font style for archive page descriptions.
Background (BG) Color: Choose a solid background color for the archive banner.
Background Image: Upload a banner image (recommended size: 1920px or wider) for category or archive pages.
Overlay Color: Add an overlay color above the image for better contrast.
Padding: Define spacing around the banner content (Top, Right, Bottom, Left).
5. Post Button Text
Button Text: Enter custom text for post action buttons.
Example: Replace “Read More” with “Continue Reading”, “Explore”, or “Discover” to match your site’s tone.
