Importing Demo Content

Techwave comes with a one-click demo import feature that helps you quickly set up your site. Follow the steps below to import the demo content successfully:

Step 1: Access the Demo Setup Wizard

• In your WordPress dashboard, go to Techwave ➝ Demo Setup.

• Here, you’ll see the Demo Import Wizard screen.

Step 2: Activate the Theme

• Before importing a demo, you must activate your theme.

• Enter your Envato Purchase Code and Email to register your copy.

• If you’ve already activated the theme, you will see plugin install screen.

Step 3: Install Required Plugins

• The wizard will prompt you to install all the required and recommended plugins.

• Click Install & Activate to complete this step.

Step 4: Choose a Demo

• After plugins are installed, you’ll see a list of available demo layouts.

• Select the demo you’d like to import.

Step 5: Import the Demo

• Click the Import Demo button.

• The system will start importing all necessary content, widgets, and theme settings.

• This may take a few minutes depending on your server speed.

Step 6: Done!

• Once the import is complete, your site will look like the chosen demo.

• You can now start customizing it according to your needs.

⚡ Tip: If the demo import fails or gets stuck, make sure your hosting meets the System Requirements (sufficient PHP limits, memory, and execution time).
